Have you ever heard of IMGN.PRO and/or Fool’s Theory?

Neither. But I bet you’ve heard of CD Projekt Red, right? You know, the one’s who made that game from last year that had everyone talking a whole bunch? Something about Witches?

Anyway, a clever bunch of developers have left the acclaimed studio and taken the giant step of starting their own, the aforementioned Fool’s Theory,  and have brought independent Polish developers IMGN.PRO along for the ride. They’ve also just taken the equally large step of releasing the very first trailer for their upcoming 3d-isometric action game called Seven: The Days Long Gone, and at first glance it’s got a bit of a dark fantasy meets Wasteland-type vibe going for it.

It doesn’t give away a whole lot of context as to what is actually going on, but from what we can make out, something pretty bad happened a while ago, and humanity has had to recover from the brink of total annihilation. Being developed using the Unreal Engine 4, the world of Seven seems to be a mix of the dark ages combined with shades of the technologically advanced old world poking through the cracks of the new – it’s like a post, post-apocalyptic world.

It also shows off a lot of the movement, which seems quite open in terms of how you can traverse land, as well as a little bit of the combat with the player toting dual wielded daggers, as well as fighting off enemies rocking laser weapons.

It’s a little light on concrete details, such as an expected release date, but what we do know for sure is that Seven: The Days Long Gone will release on PC at some point in the future.
