News Bites – Friday the 13th of May

 – Lives are about to be ruined once more with the announcement of Civilization VI. 2k and Firaxis have announced the latest entry in the classic strategy series will be hitting PC’s everywhere on the 21st of October this year. The game is said to include a host of new features including a revamped city system. I know I am excited about giving that warmongering, back-stabbing Gandhi a piece of my mind again.

 – Final Fantasy X and X-2 are making their way to PC today. Only 15 or so years late the well loved JRPG classics has made it to home computers with a fresh HD upgrade and a host of Steam integration features. Now is the perfect time to grab this, especially if you missed it first time round.

– Activision and Platinum games have released 4 new trailers for their upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, Mutants in Manhattan. The trailers highlight the differences between the 4 famous turtles and offer an insight into the game’s play style. The game shows some promise, especially after Platinum treated the Transformers licence so well last year. Check the Mikey trailer below (the rest can be found here )

– Sony will be unveiling the next entry in the super selling Gran Turismo franchise during a live stream event on the 19th of May. The stream (which will be shown here ) will showcase Gran Turismo: Sport’s first trailer and some love gameplay in the form of an eSports competition. The game is sure to also feature heavily at Sony’s E3 conference this year.
