Player 2 24 Hour Marathon for Starlight – Schedule and Giveaways

Under a week until the big Starlight Foundation charity event and it is time to announce the prizes and schedule for the big day. I know everyone loves winning things so let’s get the prizes out of the way first.

The Prizes

We will have 4 major prizes for the event. They are as follows

PS4 Prize: 1 Copy each of Deus Ex: Mankind Divide, Just Cause 3, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

Xbox One Prize: 1 Copy each of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Just Cause 3, Dirt Rally and Dead Island Definitive Collection.

PC Prize: 1 Copy each of Xcom 2, Xcom: The Bureau, Dying Light, Okhlos (Code), Tomb Raider GOTY (Code) and Massive Chalice (Code)

Bonus Prize: 1 x Turtle Beach X-Wing Gaming Headset

Those are just the major prizes. Throughout the night we will also be giving away a Street Fighter V swag bags that contain a copy of the game as well as a T-shirt and tote bag, Halo: Fall of Reach DVD’s, The Division Adventure books and a whole bunch of games including Resident Evil Origins, Wasteland 2, Mighty No 9, Dead Island, Samurai Warriors, Far Cry Primal Collectors Edition, Rainbow Six: Siege Collectors edition, Just Cause 1+2 collection and Okhlos. We have over 40 games in total to give away!

So how do you win? Easy as pie. Simply donate $5 or more at our donation page before the 12th of September. That’s it, nothing could be simpler. Major Prize winners will be announced a day after the event has finished giving people a chance to enter if they are unavailable on the day. Prizes will also be given out during the Marathon for people watching the stream and taking part so make sure you join us on the day if you can. Please note that the physical prizes can only be won by Australia residents, however all the prizes that are codes can be won by our international readers.

The Schedule

The event will kick off at 10am AEST on the 1oth of September. Viewers will be able to watch via the Player 2 Website as well as at out Twitch channel. We have picked a range of games that hopefully encourage viewer interaction as well as the ability to give as many Player 2 writers the ability to join in the fun. We will also be running a second stream of local tournaments we will be holding during the event. These tournaments will be local only and are a fun way to involve friends, family and supporters of Player 2. The second stream will also capture the party atmosphere we are hoping to create with multiple gaming stations setup at our streaming location. The stations include an Arcade Cabinet, Mario Kart and Smash Brothers on a projected screen and a Rockband/Guitar Hero setup.
