Hellblade Makes its Reappearance

Hellblade Makes its Reappearance

After quite a few years in the wilderness, Hellblade has finally made its return to the spotlight just before E3. Coming with a new trailer and a release date (8th of August) Ninja Theory’s latest game is delving into so pretty heavy themes and looks to be more than a simple action title. The game has been developed in collaboration with Neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis with the intent to allow players to fully experience the mental problems that the title character, Senua, experiences.

When speaking about the game, Tameem Antoniades, Ninja Theory co-founder said: ‘We’re happy to announce Hellblade’s release date after 3 years of open and independent development. Hellblade has been all about trying to rejuvenate the space between ‘indie’ and AAA, where games can be creatively rich but still boast AAA quality. At around half the length of a similar AAA game and half the price, we think Hellblade will give players a unique AAA quality experience at a fair price.’
