A Small Delay in Becoming a Made Man
Let’s face it, 2020 is all kinds of batshit crazy. All over the world, people are in lockdown to try to contain the coronavirus, contending with the feelings of being trapped in their homes, and in Australia, with the added fear that they may not be able to get any toilet paper because apparently of all the things to hoard in a pandemic, TP is the item everyone is stocking up. But I digress because what I am getting at here is that while yes many people are working from home, it is not an ideal situation, with plenty of evidence that even though people can work from home, in these conditions their productivity is nowhere near where it would be if they were in the office.
Get to the point already, I hear you ask. Well due to issues relating to COVID-19, the release date of the Mafia: Definitive Edition remake has now been delayed from August 28th to September 25th.
In a press release announcing the delay, developer Hanger 13 states that finalising everything to be ready for the original August 28th release date has become increasingly challenging, and the last thing they want to do is compromise on the quality of the experience.
It is not all bad news though, with the team at Hanger 13 eager to show off an extended look at Mafia: Definitive Edition gameplay in two weeks on the 22nd of July. If you can’t wait that long you can also cast your eyes below to see a brand new 15-second teaser.
