It's Finally Happening, Red Dead Is Hitting PC
There are very few games that fail to hit the PC these days. Generally a PC version is either at launch or not long after. But for some reason, one of the greatest games ever never made it to the platform. Well folks, that is about to be fixed with Red Dead Redemption and it’s awesome zombie expansion, Undead Nightmare coming to PC on October 29.
This is a little more than a straight port too. A host of improvements are coming that are sure to make this the best version of the game yet. The list of PC specific enhancements is quite impressive and it is sure to take some of this pain out of the very, very long wait for PC gamers.
- Native 4K resolution and beyond at up to 144hz on supported hardware
- Monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9)
- Full keyboard and mouse support
- Upscaling technologies support for Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0
- Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation
- Adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more
I mean sure, you can already play this classic on your consoles and sure you probably have already done so, but frankly I am always looking for another excuse to spend some more time with John Marsten and this is the best excuse yet. Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmares is coming to Steam, Epic Game Store and Rockstar’s own launcher on October 29. Stay tuned for more info as it comes to hands.
